Red Cross Copenhagen
Established in 1917 Red Cross Copenhagen is today the largest national society of Danish Red Cross. More than 2.700 volunteers devote their time and energy to operate close to 50 different services/activities all with the aim of improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and minorities in the metropolitan region.
It is our ambition that socially vulnerable citizens shall have the same rights as everyone else in any society or community they wish to be part of. We want to provide the support they need – especially during the transitions in life where resources are limited.

We need drivers for our food waste effort distributing surplus vegetables, fruit and bread twice a week to people having difficulties getting their economy to meet ends.
We offer families without a network a nice homely setting to meet and get to know other families and participate in activities.
